We cut costs by using the library and finding free resources online, but still there is the need to regularly purchase curriculum, particularly as the kids get older. Swap With Friends
If you have friends using the same curriculum, but kids are in different grades, you can swap things like teacher’s manuals and other items back and forth and share the cost.
